FAQ

  • Is Betterclean Services still open?
Yes, we are still very much open for business. We are following Public Health England (PHE) guidance on social distancing and have amended the working practices of our cleaning staff to ensure that we are operating in a safe and responsible manner whilst continuing to deliver a much needed service to our clients.
  • How do you help existing clients tackle Covid-19?
We have amended our cleaning programmes inline with PHE guidelines to increase the level of cleaning to high touchpoint areas in order to increase the levels of sanitisation and therefore reduce the potential for cross contamination. We are also providing specialist sanitising cleans and deep cleans to our clients.
  • I am not an existing Betterclean client, can you help me?"
Of course. We are always happy to help where we can, whether that be with advice and guidance on how to keep your workplace safe or providing a cleaning service that meets your requirements. Just get in touch and we will help where we can.
  • Can you provide a clean if we have had a confirmed or suspected case of Covid-19?
Yes. We have implemented processes and procedures which enable us to carry out a safe and thorough clean of an area that has been subject to a confirmed or suspected case of Covid-19 while adhering to PHE guidelines.
  • What does a sanitising clean consist of?
If you have had a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 we can provide a sanitising clean which will ensure that all areas that the individual may have come in to contact with are cleaned and sanitised so as to negate the risk of further contamination to others. The process includes sanitising all hard and soft surfaces using a combination of wiping, misting and fogging methods. The chemicals we use for this process kill 99.999% of pathogens including such things as Norovirus, E. Coli, Swine Flu, HIV, Hepatitis C, MRSA & Clostridium difficile. The products also conform to the following European tests EN 1276, 13704, 1650, 14476 & 14675
  • How quickly can you provide a sanitising clean or deep clean?
This will depend on location and current demand. However, we aim to commence a sanitising or deep clean within 48 hours of receiving the request.
  • How much does a sanitising clean cost?
The cost will vary depending on the area that requires cleaning, the location and the intensity of the clean. Prices start from £400 +vat
  • Is it safe for your team to work?
Our teams are provided with PPE and training in line with PHE guidelines so as to ensure that they are working in a safe manner and complying with social distancing requirements etc.
  • Can Betterclean Services provide a continuous service, even if your own staff fall ill?"
Yes. One of our key principles is always having a back-up plan, so we have mobile cleaners and other members of our cleaning team who can step in to take over the duties of a team member who becomes either becomes ill or is unable to attend the site for whatever reason. It is this back up that enables us to offer a continuous service to our clients.
  • What can we do to better to protect our staff from contamination?
The best thing you and your work colleagues can do is to practice social distancing and good hygiene practices. Washing your hands regularly and trying not to touch your face will help massively in this fight against Covid-19. Other things you can do include regular wiping and sanitising of high touch points, stop employees from sharing desks, telephones, keyboards etc.
